What it does
This app is an image colorizer that can add color to B&W images. Built for board game creators who want to make a board game based on a book, but the book's images are black and white, which doesn't fit the board game..
What a real user taught us
The images ended up with ugly purple in odd spots, and the outputs were super low quality. I increased the quality and turned the outputs to .webp, which fixed them both.
A safety issue we fixed
My app used to show everyone's images, which could be unsafe if someone used it to turn old photos of real people to color.
What we would build next
It would be better if my google sign up and domain was not affiliated with founders school other than that it was built with it.
