What it does
Full length practice tests, practice problems/reviews for each section of the test, detailed study guides for different grade levels, and an AI tutor powered by Claude. Built for Students in grades 4–11 who are preparing for the ISEE to get into private school, as well as the parents who want to help them study and track their progress..
What a real user taught us
Israel wanted to see what sections of the quantitive reasoning he needed to work on instead of having the entire list to pick from. I created a recommended section so that students can work on the aspects of that subject they struggle the most on.
A safety issue we fixed
Tutoroot’s database only shows each account its own data, and parents can only view a student’s progress after the student shares a private student ID with them
What we would build next
I would have gone through each study guide to make sure its comprehensible to each grade level.
