What it does
Lock In allows student athletes who are strangled for time, plan when they need to study and successfully get their work done while staying focused. You can input your schedule (when your school day starts and ends) along with practice times, and any other time consuming events. It allows you to gather all your homework in one spot so that everything is organised. As well as input your upcoming test dates so that it can create study plans for you according to your schedule. When it is time to study, you start a focus session. Built for Student-athletes.
What a real user taught us
Hanling tried my app, she tried out starting a focus session, and placing in her schedule to see the recommended study times she got. It worked out well and did what I expected. I noticed my dates were in European layout, as well as how the streak was going up even if it wasn't two days, so I fixed both of those issues.
A safety issue we fixed
At first users who weren't signed in could make changes to the schedules, I changed it so that you and only you can make changes to anything within the app and see the data inside.
What we would build next
If I had more time, and if I could make it a little more complex I would make it so that during the focus session your other addictive apps such as any social media would be blocked for that period of time so that you can stay more in focus.
